Police dealing with incident in Clitheroe

Police and other emergency services have been dealing with an incident in Woone Lane, Clitheroe, since last night.

Officers and ambulance crews were called out yesterday evening (Friday) and the area was taped off for several hours.

Witnesses immediately took to social media to find out what was happening. One person wrote on Facebook: "Woone Lane all shut off, Ambulance was blocking road a good hour ago, now police taped off and loads of police there, looks bad whatevers happened."

A police spokesman confirmed the investigations are continuing and the "incident" is ongoing.
