Dog rescued from Colne house blaze
A dog has had a lucky escape after being rescued from a burning house on Alkincoats Road.
Two fire engines from Colne attended the incident just after 6pm yesterday. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.
Crews also saved the dog trapped inside the property.
